This series is looking at God’s message of freedom, life and hope and how this applies
to today and tomorrow. The series is looking at Isaiah from Chapter 40 on.
Week 1 - Ever have days where you are head down, heart heavy and feel as though you
are being held back by disappointments? Hear the promise of God from Isaiah 40
Week 2 - What kind of an impact is God wanting to make in our lives and in our community?
Week 3 - A Father’s Day message looking at the path to the Great Life
Week 4 - Living with God affects the way we treat others. This message looks at
some ways we can take the message of hope to our world.
Week 5 - God gives us a view of Heaven. This message talks about how God wants
heaven to break into our world today.
Christians are called to be Courageous and Contagious. This series looks at why
we are called to talk about Jesus and aims to give some practical advice on how to
boldly speak of the great news of Jesus. Many of the ideas in this series come from
a great series by Andy Stanley called, “Go Fish”.
In October we did a 3 week series on Getting Your Prayers Answered. One of the things
that identifies us as God’s people is that we are the people who cry out to God
.
2 Chronicles 7:14 “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves
and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from
heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Week 1 - God is able and willing to answer our prayers. Our call is to come before
him with the right attitude.
Week 2 - To experience answered prayers we need to keep the channels of communication
open. Sean looks practically at how we are to do this.
Week 3 - Challenges the view that prayer is about getting what we want, when we want
it.
Week 1 - Why God calls Christians to speak about Jesus
Week 2 - Looks at some of our objections to talking about Jesus and how God can take
the cowardly and make them courageous.
Week 3 - What do you need to know to become a Christian, and what do you need to
do? This sermon shows that God’s answer to these questions is simple.
Week 4 - Andrew and Philip model the simplest way to introduce someone to Jesus,
“Come and See”. This sermon looks at the role of the church to partner together
to show people Jesus.

The much loved but challenging prayer written by Reinhold Niebuhr starts:
God give us the grace to accept with serenity, the things that cannot be changed,
courage to change the things that should be changed, and the wisdom to distinguish
the one from the other.
Join with us as we explore how the 3 principles, Acceptance, Courage, and Wisdom,
can impact our lives.
Week 1 - Accepting the things we cannot change. Looks at lessons we can learn from
Joseph on acceptance and faith.
Week 3 - Wisdom to know when to keep on pushing, courageously being agents of change
and when to accept.
Week 2 - Courage to change the things we should. Kaelene introduces us to Nehemiah
who courageously stepped out to change something that brought dishonour to God.
Letting Go of Parasites...a strange title? This series inspired by the movie “Fireproof”
looks at letting go of things that rob us of life.
Week 1 - In John 10:7-10, Jesus tells us that he came to give us life and life to
the full. Listen as we start the journey of letting go of anything that robs us
of the life Jesus came to bring.
Week 2 - Cassi explores how busyness can rob us of the life Jesus came to bring.
Week 3 - There are many voices that speak to influence our lives. Proverbs 7 demonstrates
the importance of judgement if we are to stand firm and not allow influences to steer
us away from the one who gives real life.
Week 4 - Addictions definitely fall in the category of the thief coming to steal
kill and destroy. Taking hold of life will mean leaning on God to help us let go
of our addictions.
